Last year Amway GBS in Kraków was facing a big challenge – the company had to organize a three month Summer Internship Program in completely new circumstances. As was the case with other positions, the entire recruitment process took place online, and so did the internship. It was a novelty for young employees starting their career paths.
It is a great opportunity to gain experience in an international company. Each intern is treated as a new employee, which means they get real responsibilities and duties. Some time ago, there was a popular belief that interns only make coffee and photocopy documents– which would be difficult in the work-from-home era – but even before the pandemic, the stereotype had nothing to do with reality.. And I know perfectly well what I am talking about because I took part in the Summer Internship Program as an intern last year and this year, I was one of the people responsible for recruitment.My example shows that an internship is also a great start for people who want to stay longer in the organization and have development opportunities.
Once you have applied for the internship, the first step is a short interview with one of our recruiters. Then the shortlisted candidates are invited to take part in short online meetings with Team Leaders. After receiving a phone call with positive feedback and a job offer, the successful candidates join our team and we begin the process of introducing new employees to the company. And this is where the best part begins: getting to know the team, training, introduction to processes and three months (or more 😉 full of amazing opportunities.
When it comes to working conditions, we are flexible, interns can choose the number of hours they want to work per week as well as whether they want to work remotely or commute to the office.
I am working at Amway as an RTR intern. Since the recruitment process, I have been impressed by the atmosphere inside the organization. On a daily basis I am helping RTR teams, which are divided into different regions, with postings, reports and ad hoc tasks.

I work for the DE Central Team as an intern, supporting Central European countries by handling incoming payments and invoices. To me, Amway has a great work atmosphere and the internship is definitely a positive career experience. Everyone is super nice and helpful, thanks to you I know I will acquire a lot of new skills. I am really amazed by how nice and helpful people are here, at Amway. As a marketing intern, I have an opportunity to work with people from different teams: communication, digital, portfolio and sales. I am supporting my upline, Ania and Sven, in their daily duties, including new promotions and product launches, communication and many others! I am given huge support and learning new things every day, which makes my internship very valuable.

I am currently working as an RTR Americas intern in the Finance department. At the moment I am dealing with capitalization and project creation, but I hope to be involved in other processes some time soon. I regret that I cannot meet people from my department in person in the company because everyone seems to be great. Hopefully, my whole internship will be as fun as the time I have spent at Amway so far.

This internship is a perfect opportunity to implement your knowledge and soft skills in real life. It’s also the best way to gain new experience with a great team. Now I am a part of the Treasury team and my duties include various activities connected with bank transactions and bank account management.

I joined the HR Payroll & Administration department because I wanted to learn as much as possible about HR processes and see what the Team is exactly responsible for. Generally, my duties include supporting the Team in current challenges and I am mainly focused on preparing and taking care of employee documentation. I am very glad that I got this chance to develop myself and gain some knowledge.

I’m an intern in the HR Business Systems Team. During these 3 months, I will be participating in 3 projects in order to develop the HR Portal, Service Now and to review our internal Knowledge Base.
