What are the 3 words you would use to describe Amway GBS Kraków?
Passion, Freedom, Joy
How would you explain your day job to a child?
My and my team’s job is to develop phone apps. The application allows you to see what products we sell and allows you to buy and share information about our products with others through Social Media. Moreover, together with my team, I make sure that everything works properly and the ratings of our applications are almost always 5 stars 🙂
What do you like the most about your job?
Honesty and openness in conversations with colleagues and bosses, exceptional flexibility in working in IT.
What drew you to Amway GBS Kraków originally? And how has our company changed since?
I started working at Amway in 2011, I was attracted by new technologies, and opportunities for development (both technical and soft skills). Since then, the company has increased its employment threefold, it is constantly evolving to keep up with the trends, it has changed the office to a super modern one, and in a fantastic location in Krakow.
What advice would you give to Amway candidates / recent new hires?
Be yourself, be honest, and don’t be afraid to ask questions!
What is the best book you have ever read?
This question cannot be answered unequivocally while being a bookworm 😊 I would certainly mention „The Invincible” by S. Lem, „Dune” by F. Herbert, the Hussite Trilogy by A. Sapkowski, the short story „Sandkings” by R.R. Martin, the short story „Flowers for Algernon” by D. Keyes … the list is long 😊
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
Danny DeVito 😊
You’re the happiest when…?
When I have the feeling of a well-spent day, both at work and in private. It doesn’t matter if it’s a vacation or the middle of the „hot season” professionally 😊 It is important to enjoy small things and be positive about every day worries.
