Job Purpose:

  • Drive XS, Home Care and Durables business growth across ESAN.
  • Develop the medium- and long-term new product, program and solution calendar in collaboration with the Global Team.
  • Accountable for developing and bringing to life the specific category portfolio strategy and all business and strategic aspects of the assigned products and brands leveraging the GTM budget.
  • Oversee category strategy execution across all ABO and RC touchpoints

Responsibilities:

  • Manages growth and profitability of the assigned brands and products
  • Builds an attractive brand and a consistent brand messaging.
  • Develop new products, program and solutions to drive revenue and category mix growth
  • Monitors portfolio financials, using findings to actively steer brand business plans for the region.
  • Develops and ensures implementation of short-term and long-term marketing strategies for the portfolio area in the European sub region, including launch and discontinuance decisions, promotion strategy as well as development of compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluates and monitors budgets of launch and promotion projects pre and post launch. Oversees business case development for sub regional launch projects.
  • Works with European counterparts as well as the Global Brand Marketing Team to successfully develop and implement all strategies and actions for the European Portfolio area.
  • Actively demonstrates strong leadership as member of subregional team, participate in Global category planning meetings and ensure needs of the European sub region are addressed.
  • Cooperates closely with communication department, this includes development of strategic framework for creative concept briefings for creative agencies on brand level.
  • Uses market research to understand consumer and distributor needs and to make winning marketing decisions. Ensures team understanding and pragmatic use of market research.
  • Engage and partner with Sales, Local Marketing Teams and ABOs Leaders to bring strategy to life.
  • Attracts, empowers, motivates and develops staff to achieve high performance and develops new leaders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing, Management).
  • Minimum of 7 years brand and product management for a multi-national company.
  • Direct Selling and FMCG background.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and any additional European languages (especially Italian or German) preferred.
  • Experience with market research projects and external agencies.
  • A team player, experienced in leading international teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in working pan European functions is an advantage.
  • Sound business acumen required, specifically financial skills.
  • Experience in coaching and staff development.
  • Proven leadership, negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Understanding and good use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Ability to travel
