Job Purpose:
- Manage Europe (EU), Australia, New Zealand (ANZ), and Southern Africa (SA) initiatives related to the Omnichannel Supply Chain Delivery Experience
- Ensure Final Mile Customer experience improvement in Logistics, analyzing customer satisfaction as the holistic journey for final mile delivery and return experience and transport operations, best practices comparison and gaps identification
- Initiate new projects to increase the effectiveness of internal logistics operations according to final mile strategy to deliver modern customer shopping experience. Works in close cooperation with Digital, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Owner and responsible to report, monitor and manage the delivery services to and from ABO/Customers orders within the ESAN region. Agree and ensure that the offered supply chain services meet Amway Europe’s business requirements and contribute to optimizing the customer/ABO experience within the organizational, financial and systematic boundaries while acting as an internal delivery experience and transport liaison
- Establish and maintain successful relationship with internal and external customers to identify transportation needs/opportunity and innovation in direct support of cost reduction, service improvements and operational efficiencies
- Provide recommendations for current and future transportation business opportunities and strategy
- Leads cross functional programs and projects and serves as a liaison between key (internal and/or external) stakeholders to ensure best possible result
- Manage tender-process and negotiations for Final Mile delivery activities within the region on Service-opportunity / Cost-efficiency and Quality of (strategic)partnership.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, drive and manage a regional Final Mile transport strategy to meet customer expectations for accurate damage-free, cost-effective and in-time order fulfillment & delivery
- Identify, initiate and act on constraints, quality improvements and cost reduction opportunities to ensure Continuous Improvement Culture and ensure alignment to customer requirement within budget/targets
- Safeguarding the continuity of the Delivery Experience activities
- Monitors shipping profiles and trade lanes; identifies, reports, and acts on relevant changes, challenges and opportunities
- Supports Agreement / Contract reviews and amendments
- Provide analysis, process improvement, program development/management and client support for any of the following areas of the supply chain: sourcing, warehousing, logistics, distribution
- Design and implement innovative global supply chain strategies, programs and practices that address capacity issues, reduce total supply chain costs, reduce inventory, reduce lead times and maximize customer service levels in support of global business growth
- Identifies supply chain improvement opportunities and makes the business case for new process implementation
- Conduct external benchmarking reviews and business process reviews to implement best practices and monitor and adjust programs as necessary
- Represent and promote ‘Final Mile’ and Amway both for internal and external customers/contact
Accountabilities include:
- Be “Super Connector” bringing best established & new solutions to tactical & strategic challenges through enabling actionable benchmarking (internal & external), operations reviews, professional community forums and driving continuous improvement
- Be a champion of competitive Final Mile Delivery Experience and the journey required to close competitive gaps within the supply chain and Amway Business Owner (ABO) facing functions
- Ensuring an active connection with regional stakeholders
- Be part of the continuous improvement culture around customer & ABO experience and cost.
- Lead the execution of the roadmap driving/ coordinating cross-functional work & clearing roadblocks & providing updates and support at MBRs, QBRs and Operational reviews
- Work on improvement opportunities and support new process implementation
- Supporting, Identifying & delivering initiatives that ensure Amway achieves its Cost Optimization targets – both by leading and supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Improve Amway SLAs to ensure we serve our customers and ABOs best-in-class
- Provide project management, project leadership and subject matter expertise leadership (Transport) on the solutions to business opportunities, in the logistics post-purchase space, developing business cases/supporting information on these solutions, and providing (and/or coordinating) execution of various experience-based initiatives
- Actively work toward closing market competitive Delivery experience gaps within the supply chain and ABO facing functions
Focus of Logistics analysis includes:
- Enterprise transportation analysis, reporting and projections
- Analysis of transportation mode, carrier, container optimization, route, and lead time
- Analysis of deliver lead time and recommendations to reduce
- Analysis and management of service provider (business partner) performance for adherence to company standards and metrics
- Evaluate and recommend supply chain strategies to drive operational efficiencies
- Develop, maintain and interpret key performance metrics for the division
- Provide analysis, evaluation, and recommendation for continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead project teams through design, development and implementation of solutions and business process improvements
Focus of Sourcing analysis includes:
- Commodity, market and supply research
- Internal and external sourcing and inventory data
- Price/cost analysis, proposal evaluation and supplier/carrier assessment
- Quality planning toward the establishment of supply base strategies by business line, supplier, and commodity
Contract Sales Focus includes:
- Participate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external partners, to identify, resolve and/or improve processes for operational/delivery activities based on customer need
- Coordinate on-boarding of new carriers, customers and products including system setup, warehouse requirements, reporting needs, DAO launch of new items, customer specific training requirements, etc.
Focus on project mgmt. / project leadership / project support & continuous improvement.:
- Participate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external partners, to identify, resolve and/or improve experiences/processes/tool based on customer & ABO need
- Participate/be part of the regional experienced team
- Work in systems that contain statistics and develop new connections to KPIs coming through internal systems
- Support / lead End-to-end ABO experience and Final Mile Delivery experience
- Partner with supply chain/leaders around region to design, own, and execute against customer service KPIs and targets along with experience measures (benchmarking efforts and closing experience gaps)
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Logistics, Economy, Business Administration, Management or similar
- E-commerce FMCG experience
- Excellent communicator

- Knowledge of Final Mile Supply Chain processes

- Fluent knowledge of Dutch language, English advanced level
