We’re looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Automation Manager to oversee marketing campaigns for Amway Europe & South Africa. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement marketing strategies using marketing automation software for lead generation and sales as well as improve Customer Lifetime Value i.e., improve retention, productivity and loyalty of existing Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and customers.
As the CRM / Marketing Automation Manager you’ll utilize your digital and communication expertise to ensure delivery of the most relevant and engaging message to the right customer at the right time in their preferred channel. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of the integration of a new customer 360 database and marketing automation platform to implement new ways of executing CRM campaigns. You should be someone who’s passionate about marketing and providing a first-class customer experience that can engage our customers and ABOs, drive revenue and build brand loyalty. You must possess a strong understanding of communication and email marketing principles, triggered campaigns, A/B testing and optimizing performance.
Purpose of the role:
Strategic / consulting role responsible for driving the cross-channel marketing CRM strategy in the European markets for Amway Business Owners (ABOs) and customers.
Develop and implement CRM strategies and campaigns, in support off overall go-to-market plans to support product launches, sales campaigns, promotions and revitalisation measures in the European markets.
Develop and implement automated lifecycle messaging strategies to drive retention and revenue goals ensuring personalised and data driven communication.
What you’ll do:
Develop targeted multichannel programs and campaigns
Build deep understanding of ABO and customer journeys, segmentation and personas to deploy campaigns using innovative CRM technologies (CDP, personalization engine)
Collaborate with Digital Team to design, build and execute automated lifecycle communications across direct marketing user journeys (email and other messaging delivery applications)
Collaborate closely with BI Team: Determine ABO and customer needs, evaluate data, target groups based on segmentation models, perform cost-benefit-analysis of measures realisation in the individual European markets, develop market insights and potential analysis
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and report on success metrics (KPIs) that objectify results and provide transparency across the organisation related to overall return on investment
Briefing/Co-ordination of external suppliers / agencies:
Coordinate design and copy requirements with relevant teams and external agencies
Design and execute test-and-learn (i.e. A/B testing) campaigns and enhance user touchpoints
Coordinate approval with all relevant stakeholders and ensure execution of campaigns
Set up/Programming of the campaigns and target groups in the current CRM system: Siebel Marketing
Set up of email message templates and co-ordination of HTML creation
Check / Test of the campaigns before send-out
Plan and manage campaign budgets
What you’ll need:
University degree in marketing, or similar Qualification
Min. of 5 years work experience in CRM, Direct/Dialog marketing, B2BC
Direct experience working with CRM technologies such as CDP, Personalisation engine and knowledge of common CRM systems (Siebel, Exponea, Salesforce)
Experience in Multi-Channel/Step Campaigns
Excellent project management skills, online and mobile knowhow
Data driven and with a genuine understanding of the customer, strong analytical mindset including familiarity for conducting research and analyzing data
HTML skills are advantageous
Conceptual, organisational, communicative skills
Experience in international working companies, good Team-worker
Fluent in spoken and written English, further languages would be an advantage
MS-Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
