Purpose of the role: 

Leads team of professionals that are responsible for the execution of supply chain planning activities, including point-of-sale demand planning, buy out planning with external suppliers or fulfillment execution, for Amway Affiliate markets (incl ABG locations).  Accountable for leading supply chain planning efforts and supporting alignment on regional supply chain planning roles and responsibilities. 

What you’ll do:
  • Manages inventory policies and product service levels for assigned product portfolio
  •  Leads cross functional engagement to expedite resolution of critical supply chain constraints for product portfolio
  • Optimizes processes across internal and external Amway supply points
  • Collaborates with cross-functional business partners on key strategic initiatives, including new product launches
  • Key regional liaison for production planning of Finished Goods at Amway-owned facilities.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes and resolve supply chain issues
  • Understands supply chain theory to develop and implement improvement actions
  • Responsible for the leadership of cross-functional supply chain strategies and process improvements
  • Oversees daily execution of supply chain activities within Amway corporate systems; teams divided into functional work streams:

      Shop Demand Planning:

  • Utilizing industry-standard supply chain planning tools to forecast demand to Amway shops and execute fulfillment activities to position inventory in the right quantity, at the right   place, at the right time
  • Reviewing historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Performing root-cause analysis of problems and suggest new/revised process/programs to improve future effectiveness


  • Assuring timely, efficient provision of materials and/or finished goods through analysis of production demands vs. supplier capacity, order management, and proactive management of supplier relationships
  • Assuring timely, efficient flow of product to distribution facilities through analysis of orders, creation of replenishment plans and execution of replenishment orders
  • Performing root-cause analysis of problems and suggest new/revised process/programs to improve future effectiveness
  • Leads cross functional engagement to expedite resolution of critical supply chain constraints for product portfolio

        Buy out planning:

  • Assuring timely order placement of finished goods and/or components (only labels) with external suppliers across the region.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and performance of regional suppliers (incl maintaining supplier metrics)

        VAL activities: 

  • Responsible for planning of labeling and kitting of FG in our region. This includes for example: brite, over labeling, assembly of starter kits and Espring units.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with operational execution of VAL activities planned.  
  • Support execution of activities from market S&OP process, coordinating supply and demand activities in support of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Maximize product availability while minimizing inventory cost through pro-active product life-cycle analysis and audits of excess or obsolete materials/products
  • Provides coaching and guidance to team of direct reports to improve overall performance of team and improve upon operational KPIs
  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships with local, regional, and global business partners to optimize operational procedures and resolve supply chain issues
  • Manages the day-to-day activity of a group of professionals
  • Participates in establishment of operational objectives, policies and procedures
  • Manages multiple areas or a large, complex, department including multiple client areas and geographic regions
  • Often acts through subordinate individual contributors
  • Hires, manages, and develops staff
  • May lead large cross-functional projects
  • Establishing and aligning with global operational objectives, policies, and procedures
What you’ll need:
  • Supply chain knowledge understands complex supply chain theory to develop and implement strategies

  • Experience managing complex supply chains with significant transformational change required
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems and toolsets with advanced planning capabilities
  • Knowledge or experience working in vertically integrated supply chains
  • Experience developing & executing Lean Supply Chain processes & programs
  • Dutch language at C1/C2 level is a must
