What you’ll do:

Purpose of Role:

Manages Access Business Group International B.V. according to the Corporate and Region strategy to ensure long term objective realization and company development. Is responsible for overseeing bottom-line responsibilities of ABG Hungary, to ensure that clients’ products are correctly sorted, packed and shipped in a timely manner according to the agreed standards. This includes managing budgetary responsibilities with high level responsibility for cost/service business revenue metrics. Legal representative of the company in contact with to all Hungarian authorities and institutions.

Manages a third party, suppliers, and customers.

Accomplishes results through independent operating staff, plans, schedules and assigns staff to work; instructs them in the proper performance of work and familiarizes them with company rules and regulations. Appraises performance and motivates staff, initiates action and recommends approval of promotions, merit increases and other personnel changes. Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments of ABG Europe and customers to assure smooth and efficient operation.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Achieving company specific objectives as a decision maker:

  • Develops intermediate and long-term objectives for ABGI HU, established and achieved to meet ABGI HU and overall corporate goals and objectives based on availability, accuracy and cost control.

  • Ensures realization of Amway Sales Budget according to the long-term strategy developed and agreed with Management.

  • Responsibility for planning and implementation of effective allocation of labor, facilities, equipment and system

  • Manages and increases work effectiveness and efficiency through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between departments.

  • Fulfilment/Value added activity: Responsibility for all order fulfillment and VAL, including support for process accuracy, high performance and development. Ensures preparation and distribution of products to ABOs on stated markets based on developed and compatible with Region plans products distribution strategy.

  • Customer Service: Ensures continual improvement of processes to meet customer expectations for accurate damage-free and cost-effective order fulfillment. Ensure continual addressing of other customer requirements and accurate and timely processing of customer Returns.

  • Transportation: Responsibility for transportation from the Distribution Center and ensuring operations remains efficient and cost-effective

  • Asset/Risk Management: Provides guidance to staff within the Operations area of the ABGI HU regarding management and usage of company property, including equipment facilities and inventory, in compliance with corporate and Hungarian Health & Safety policies, procedures and standards.

  • Responsible for all decision made for the organization up to own property value.Responsibility for the company assets up to 15 000 000 HUF.

  • Teamwork Teamwork of all ABGI HU staff is promoted and visible as well as co-operation/contact/involvement with other departments within the organization, our customers and third parties. Contributes to create and improve partnership cooperation with Amway in stated countries.

  • Staff Managements :Hires, develops and leads a high performing team. Mentor, coach and guide professionals to help develop the top talent pipeline within ABG. Develops goals, objectives and performance expectations Day-to-day team leadership and prioritization (either directly or through subordinate leaders).

  • Employee Relations Compensation: Employee Relations and Compensation issues are addressed and resolved proactively and consistently with standard practices, including recommendations for merit increases, promotions and terminations

  • Improves Processing Systems: Ensures good knowledge of new regulations/ legislation regarding to order fulfillment, transportation, finance and HR.

  • Reviews cost/benefit of outside services and develop, where necessary, alternatives.

  • Maintains good working relationship with all staff; Amway, ABG and outside.

  • Ensures realization of inventory procedures described by Management Team in the warehouse.

  • Optimization: Proactively thinking and executing business solutions for ABG HU and its customers. Requests proper analysis to assess possibility of costs savings for the company.

  • Company Image: Contributes to create positive image of ABGI Hungary and Amway brand among employees, ABOs in media, business environment and government authorities.

 

What you’ll need:
  • Master degree in Logistics, Economy, Business Administration, Management or similar
  • Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated professional experience in logistics preferably within a multi-national company and over 3 years of experience in people management

  • E-commerce experience & FMCG would be a big plus
  • Good knowledge of Hungarian, as well oral as written.

  • Good knowledge of English, as well oral as written;

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;

  • Excellent communicator;
