The location for this role is the European headquarter in Puchheim near Munich.

What you’ll do:
  • Demonstrate HR ownership as HR Business Partner by proactively cooperating closely with line managers on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with senior HR leadership in aligning HR programs (e.g., recruiting, development, rewards, etc.) to enable near- and long-range business objectives and performance for client groups
  • Attract, empower, motivate and develop staff to achieve high performance and develops new leaders
  • Extract and analyze business data to support strategic and tactical decision making, to assist in long-range business planning, to evaluate effectiveness of different human capital initiatives and to support targeted change management activities
  • Demonstrate a senior knowledge of HR trough actively supporting, coaching and counseling Managers and employees in all HR matters
  • Design and develop analyses on the employee population such as demographic profiles, turnover ratios, and recruitment data, in order to facilitate strategic decision making for human capital
  • Integrate and advise on human capital planning into client groups’ LRBPs and AOPs
  • Partnering with business units to understand business needs and objectives and providing required HR support for policy and program implementation
  • Advising business leaders on the preparation of departmental human resource plan and integrating into the strategic planning process
  • Advocate and champion the service delivery model within the business and provide feedback/insights to CoE’s
  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts
  • Engage stakeholders in and providing support for change management processes throughout the organization
  • Analyzing business trends and enterprise performance to help identify opportunities for improvement through human capital programs
  • Providing human capital subject matter expertise to functional areas and regions
  • Establishing and maintaining human capital planning controls/standards, monitoring dashboards and analytical and forecasting frameworks and tools
  • Effectively managing labor/union relations activities

What you’ll need: 

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Decision Sciences, Economics, Finance, HR Management, or other analytically focused field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as HR Business Partner in a dynamic, international environment
  • Understanding key human capital principles and concepts - Advanced knowledge of German labor law
  • Familiarity with the range of operational HR topics in Germany
  • Independent as well as success- and result-oriented way of working and a clear "hands on" mentality
  • Diplomacy, as well as a distinct feeling for different people, their situations and needs paired with communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and with enthusiasm, communication and persuasion, initiative
  • Ability to use discretion and empathy as well as to be highly assertive
  • Agile mindset and passion to drive change
  • Fluent in German and English, every other language is a plus
  • Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from technical or business material and tools to support management decision making
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
  • Understanding key change management principles and concepts
  • Ability to think strategically and understand the broader view; demonstrates an understanding of the long-term, “big picture” view of needs and opportunities
